Guess who traded out their sectional for nearly new leather couches? A while back when we were having a cookout at our friend Thomas' house, he was talking about all the things he'd planned to get rid of before moving back to Texas. (we're sad about that for the record) I complemented the couches unrelated to the conversation of selling things and he offered them to me for $600. Not bad.  I do like the sectional I picked out years ago when moving into my first apartment, but to be honest, after it being broken by a roommate in less than ideal living circumstances, there's just this less-than-amazing connotation I have of it.  Don't get me wrong, the sectional looks great, but you know, out with the old, in with the new....especially when one of the ladies who's lived on the couch in the past offers to buy it from me.  This was a great $200 upgrade option and I"m grateful for a new reason to get painting in the living room. Despite the classy shine and elegant deep colors, the living room is looking a little more like a cigar bar than a girls living room, especially with spring on its way. Roller up!
